What you can do
Knowledge is necessary but not sufficient. A few concrete actions any Filipino can take.
Report what you know
If you have first-hand knowledge of irregularities in flood control or other infrastructure projects, the Office of the Ombudsman accepts complaints from the public.
Check projects in your area
The DPWH publishes project information by region and district. If a flood control project is recorded in your area, ask whether it actually exists, what condition it's in, and who built it.
The clearest accountability mechanism is the ballot. Confirm your registration with the Commission on Elections; encourage friends and family to do the same.
